The Music of Seth Pettersen

Hello Friends! I wanted to share the rad music of Seth Pettersen. If you have not heard of him yet you will now! He was in the amazing Franklin For Short and his other bands include Massenger, Rad Cloud, Tall Tales & the Silver Lining, and Seth Pettersen & the Undertow. Each band has a distinct but rather similar vibe, California Surf Jams. Listening to any song of his reminds you of how great it is to be on this coast (even on a gloomy day, the jams just put you in a good mood). On his latest release Skate Away EP the opening self titled track sounds mostly about skating around town and just freeing your self from everything and to just cruise and that song leads into my personal favorite Castle (music video below). "my mind is my castle, I'm free from the hassle of dealing with assholes..." The vibe of this song is just an all around rad jam, sitting on the beach with tall can and this song comes on will make you forget any problems you have. His other album SO FULLY begins with The Master very similar sound to Skate Away but like I said earlier very distinct from any other surf vibe jam bands, His lyrics are very descriptive and complex, "you gotta let your light shine, you gotta let your love grow, you gotta be the master, you gotta give up control." It sound as if he is telling you personally in the song to wake up and do what you want to do. Manifest your life, make your dreams it a reality and just go for it! I hope you will enjoy his music as much as I do and let's see what the future has for Seth Petterson!
