Here’s something else he said that sums up this band: “You know the way that everybody’s into weirdness right now? It’s all part of a cosmic unconsciousness.” You see, he knew what was going on from the beginning. The aliens. The fact that the life of a repo man is always intense. Our Skyline Sisters is something else. They’re out of left field. Their moods determine the direction. It’s a cacophony of irrelevant sounds that somehow fit together. It’s coherent in that indie-rock-pit-through-a-meat-grinder type sound. Does it make sense? Yes, if you’re eschewed from the norm. Strange, haunting and ambient.
